LAS VEGAS, NV - Assistance League of Las Vegas, an all-member volunteer nonprofit that transforms the lives of children and adults through community programs, has a new president and board of directors for 2023-2024.
Gina Geldbach-Hall will serve as president of the nonprofit starting June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. Geldbach-Hall is a retired Clark County Fire Department firefighter, retiring as a Battalion Chief, who has also been a volunteer member of the Assistance League for the last dozen years. Her mother was also a long-term member.
Every year, the more than 400 members of Assistance League of Las Vegas elect a new Board of Directors to oversee the nonprofit. Duties include operating the award-winning Thrift Shop and the nonprofit’s community programs, such as Operation School Bell®, which provides about 8,000 local students a year with the new clothing they need to succeed at school.
