Las Vegas, NV – Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas announces its Women Build & Brunch on May 11. This annual event unites women from Southern Nevada to support and participate in backyard beautifications and living spaces. Habitat’s 120th and 121st homes will be this year’s projects as they near completion.
“Our Women's Build event on May 11 embodies the spirit of empowerment and unity, demonstrating that together, we can construct more than just homes—we can build lasting change and brighter tomorrows for families in need,” said Angela Phillips, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas. “This annual gathering is an opportunity for women to help hand in hand with their colleagues, friends and family to learn more about our organizations mission and also make a difference for our families as they come on step close to calling their house a home.”
A complimentary brunch will be provided, along with refreshments throughout the day. Habitat will supply all necessary equipment and safety gear. No prior construction skills are required to participate.
