Last week, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) celebrated the reopening of Launchpad, formerly known as the Henderson Business Resource Center. It is a non-profit organization under the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is the longest running business incubator in Nevada, helping to strengthen and diversify the local economy.

For more than twenty years, Launchpad has helped micro and start-up businesses establish themselves and offers short-term, all-inclusive leases in a fully refurbished office environment to foster and develop the next generation of entrepreneurial dreams.

The event started with welcoming remarks from Brian Formisano, Market President for Wells Fargo Bank, HCC Chair Aviva Gordon, HCC Foundation Chair DeAndre Esteen, City of Henderson Councilman Dan Shaw and Guy Martin, President of Martin-Harris Construction.

“Launchpad, powered by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is the longest running business resource center in the state of Nevada. With this reopening we could not be more grateful to our sponsors for making this possible. Special thank you to Martin-Harris Construction who served as the general contractor of this project and to everyone who continues to support small business within our community," said Scott Muelrath, president and CEO, Henderson Chamber of Commerce.

“A resource as significant as Launchpad, contributes much needed resources to start-ups and small businesses who are looking to grow or taking their operations to the next level. Five Launchpad minority-owned businesses who were the recipients of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation Launchpad Business Entrepreneur Grants moved into the space this month. Here they will have access to valuable resources such as business counseling, funding resources, networking and education," said DeAndre Esteen, board chair, Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
