J4NG Students Host Sock and Glove Drive for Homeless Youth on September 23

Chaparral High School students at Jobs for Nevada's Graduates (J4NG) program, a statewide nonprofit helping students to achieve graduation and find career pathways, are seeking stocks and gloves donations for Nevada Partnership for Homeless youth from now through Thursday, September 22.
This event is in partnership with Nevada Health Centers and in support of Untied Way of Southern Nevada’s annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 23.
To donate money, please visit here. General public can also bring items to the front desk of Chaparral High School (3850 Annie Oakley Dr.) or to the following Nevada Health Centers locations:
- Henderson Family Health Center (98 E. Lake Mead Pkwy #103)
- Martin Luther King Family Health (1799 Mount Mariah Dr.)
- North Las Vegas Family Health (2225 Civic Center Dr.)
- WIC Tropicana (5486 Boulder Hwy Suite #102)
UWSN has supported J4NG for the past two years. The program at Chaparral High School has served over 60 students in the past year and exceeded all academic achievement goals including 100% of seniors in the program graduating from high school and 94.74% of youth achieving full time positive outcomes such as employment, further education, military or a combination to equal a full-time endeavor. 53 schools across Nevada offer J4NG programs, serving more than 3,300 students.
