Las Vegas, NV - Kaia Handroll, the newest eatery inside AREA15, is now open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight. Kaia means "of the sea", and it offers an array of fresh handrool selctions and chef pairings, including specialties such as lobster truffle, blue crab and bluefin tuna as well as classic and vegetarian options crafted by head chef Joseph Soto and sous chefs Juan Laguana and Christopher Soldivieri. Prior to Kaia Handroll, Chef Soto was with Kaizen Sushi and Momo Sushi.
Dessert includes several varieties of mochi and Japanese cheesecake with passionfruit caramel. Libations span Japanese classics, including hot green tea and sake, as well as Japanese beer and whiskey. For guests wishing to order food on the go, Kaia also offers select to-go items, including chirashi bowls with rice, fish and vegetables.
Drawing inspiration from water’s eminent strength, the space also features a full wall of AI-generated artwork depicting powerful female characters, water-inspired décor and countertop bar seating. Combining augmented reality (AR) technology with the dining experience, guests can also use their cell phones to activate a unique AR moment on Kaia’s menus.
