The Mob Museum announced it has purchased a nearly 30,000 SF parcel of land directly to its east on Stewart Ave. and N 4th St. for its expansion plan. It will build out facilities for administration, exhibitions, archives, education and entertainment programs and food and beverage facilities. More details will be announcing in coming months.

Employ NV Youth Hub & Teen Zone Opens Inside West Charleston Library

Local elected officials and partners cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the new Employ NV Youth Hub & Teen Zone inside the West Charleston Library on August 4, 2022.

The nearly 2,500-square-foot hub and teen zone are a partnership between Workforce Connections and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and will allow young adults to access a variety of no-cost employment and education programs offered through both organizations in a convenient, teen-friendly atmosphere.

Bank of Nevada has announced Michael Pizzi as managing director of commercial banking. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Pizzi has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Most recently, he led a team of bankers in 11 cities along the West Coast focused on assisting medium-sized companies.

Pizzi attended UNLV, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing. He served three terms as a board member of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada and continues to support the organization as a committee member.
