Nationwide, 30.3% of Redfin.com users looked to move to a different metro area in October and November, according to a new report from Redfin, a national real estate brokerage. That's down from a record-high 31.5% in the first quarter of 2021 but well above pre-pandemic levels.
Miami was the most popular migration destination of any major U.S. metro for the fourth month in a row. Next come Phoenix, Las Vegas, Sacramento and Tampa. - The County Commission Approved $71.5 Million in Grants to Help Overcome COVID-19 Impacts
The Clark County Commission today approved $71.5 million in grant funding to local agencies and nonprofit organizations providing services to families, children, seniors and disproportionately impacted communities struggling to overcome the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. - Gibson Named Clark County Commission Chairman and Jones Named Vice Chairman
Jim Gibson was selected today by fellow Clark County commissioners as their chairman, and Justin Jones was named vice chairman, effective Jan. 4. The vote was unanimous in each case.
