Nevada Announces The First Funding Awards for $500 Million Affordable Housing Initiative
Last week, the Nevada Housing Division announced an initial set of funding awards for the $500 million Home Means Nevada initiative funded by American Rescue Plan dollars. The first round of funding total $155.7 million, representing about one-third of the initiative.
Last Building Comes Down in Largest Redevelopment Effort in the City of North Las Vegas’ History
The City of North Las Vegas, in partnership with Agora Realty & Management, have begun demolition on the last building in a 29-acre parcel to make way for NLV Village, a new mixed-use master-planned commercial district in Downtown North Las Vegas along the Lake Mead / Las Vegas Boulevard corridor.
U.S. Department of Energy Awards $107 Million in Funding to Two Lithium Companies in Nevada
Last month, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced it will award $57,744,831 in funding to the American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) to help develop new lithium extraction techniques in Tonopah, as well as $50,000,000 to Lilac Solutions to develop a lithium manufacturing facility in Fernley, Nevada.
Nevada Maintains Highest Credit Ratings In History During Upcoming Bond Sale for Capital Projects
Last Week, Nevada State Treasurer Zach Conine announced the State of Nevada has maintained its highest credit ratings in history from Fitch Ratings, Moody’s Investor Services, and S&P Global Ratings during the state's upcoming $47 million bond sale for capital projects.
SHEQ Properties Announces New Class A Professional Office Development in Summerlin
SHEQ Properties, a real estate development firm that specialized in medial and professional office development in Las Vegas, announced its newest office development, Parkway Crossing, in Summerlin. The project will include two Class A professional office buildings with quick access to Summerlin Parkway and Town Center Drive. Construction is expected to finish by October 2023.
