UNLV To Receive $1.1 Million Funding for Clean Energy and Technology Startups
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) will receive $1,149,037 from Economic Development Administration (EDA) for university programs that fund innovative clean-energy and technology startups.
UNLV will receive $749,037 to fund their Accelerate Electric Nevada Renewable Energy Cluster Development project and an additional $400,000 for their Scarlet Venture Fund. Both programs will support clean-energy and innovative technology startup companies in Clark County.
