Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s most influential tech convention, is back in Las Vegas on Jan. 5-8. This year’s show exhibit footprint is estimated to be over 2 million net square feet and over 70% larger than CES 2022. Many influential brands such as Canon, Google, Hisense, Intel, LG Electronics, Nikon, Samsung, TCL and Voxx will feature their newest technologies at the show.

- Nearly 1,000 new exhibitors and more than 2,400 in total.
- 323 of the fortune global 500 companies have registered.
- 40 of the top retailers have registered.
- 60% of registered attendees are senior-level.

This year's highlighted topics include:
- Automotive and Mobility - The exhibit floor includes one of the largest auto shows in the world with nearly 300 exhibitors in the Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall. BMW AG Chairman of the Board of Management Oliver Zipse and Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares will each deliver a keynote address.
- Digital Health - The digital health market is growing rapidly. Consumer Technology Association (CTA)’s Digital Health Studio, presented by The American College of Emergency Physicians, will feature the latest in technology for diagnostic and treatment functions and highlight the importance of remote connectivity for accessible healthcare.
- Sustainability - Global brands like John Deere, LG, Samsung and Siemens will show how innovation can conserve energy and increase power generation, create more sustainable agricultural systems, power smart cities, support access to clean water.
- Web3 and Metaverse – For the first time, CES 2023 will have a dedicated Metaverse area on the show floor. A Web3 Studio, located in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall and produced by CoinDesk, will be the focal point of the Web3, Metaverse and Blockchain area at CES. CoinDesk will host industry leaders and visionaries as they discuss the most impactful developments that have taken root across industries, technologies and capabilities. The show will also feature Web3 programming by the Blockchain Association.
- Human Security for All (HS4A) - For the first time, CES has a theme: how technology is addressing the world’s biggest challenges. The Consumer Technology Association® (CTA), in partnership with the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security, will support the global campaign Human Security for All (HS4A).
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Adena T. Friedman, president and CEO of Nasdaq, and the first woman CEO to lead a global stock exchange, will join Shapiro for a Great Minds session, “What’s Next for the 21st Century Economy,” on Jan. 6.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), owner and producer of CES, is committed to invest $10 million to venture firms and funds that invest in women, people of color and other underrepresented entrepreneurs. At CES 2023, a keynote panel, “Bold Solutions for a Changing World”, will feature top female investors and company founders and illustrate how under-represented founders are revolutionizing healthcare.
Infrastructure, Clean Energy, and Record Number of Members of Congress
At CES 2023, U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm will speak about the Biden-Harris Administration’s plans to increase access to and use of energy efficiency tools. The show will also feature a record number of members of Congress. U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) will lead a discussion on Friday, January 6 at 2 p.m. PST. Additionally, incoming Congressional Black Caucus Chair U.S. Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV) will lead a delegation of 10 other members of the Congressional Black Caucus to CES.
These speakers join more than 150 international, federal, state and local government officials and staff who will participate in the Leaders in Technology Program and attend the Innovation Policy Summit at CES, which convenes innovators and policymakers to discuss the future of policy around a range of pressing technology issues, including privacy, health equity, trade policy, competition, artificial intelligence, self-driving vehicles, and more.
